Learn how to save the sea turtles


Volunteer
Another way you can help sea turtles is to volunteer to help with beach monitoring programs. These do not only require your time, but are often also quite hard work walking many miles every night in the sand. On the other hand you get experience with fieldwork and the chance to see turtles nesting and hatching.
You are usually required to pay at least part of the expenses, and the conditions are sometimes a bit primitive, but the opportunity to have close contact with the turtles is worth it.
