What does a Leatherback Sea Turtle eat

It feeds only jellyfish and relatives, and can dive up to 3200 feet deep in search of giant jellyfish. The turtles will also eat other soft-bodied creatures, such as salps. Salps are soft-bodied, gelatinous, free-swimming marine invertebrates with a transparent barrel-shaped body. The Leatherback likes to eat jellyfish
Just like the other sea turtles, the Leatherback doesn't have any teeth. Instead it has a cusp on both upper and lower jaw. These are used to grab the food with. The Leatherback's entire esophageal tract, or gullet, is lined with sharp spines that point downward. This helps both to prevent the jellyfish to escape from the mouth and to shred the jellyfish into pieces as it goes down to the stomach.
