Habitat of the Sea Turtle

Usually most sea turtles are found in warm and temperate seas throughout the world.

Even though some of the adult sea turtles venture into the open sea, most are found in shallow, coastal waters, bays, lagoons, and estuaries. When found in open sea it?s mostly when they?re travelling from feeding sites to the nesting areas. Juveniles of some species may be found in bays and estuaries, as well at sea.
